NHL Playoff Wednesday

Two very important games tonight in the NHL Stanley Cup Playoffs starting with Game 7 between the defending Champion Pittsburgh Penguins and the Upstart 8th seeded Montreal Canadiens.

Montreal has shocked the hockey world on three separate occasions this NHL post season, first by just making the playoffs, then by beating the heavily favoured Washington Capitals and then once more by forcing a game seven against the defending champions.

In the other Eastern Conference semi, the Boston Bruins are looking to send the Philadelphia flyers packing in game six of their series.

The flyers needed a play-in game just to make the post season this year, and once they did they made quick work of the New Jersey Devils, sending them golfing in 5 games.

This game 6 matchup heads back to Philly, where home ice has been their bread and butter this playoff season, and according to oddsmakers, they're also a solid bet.
