NHL Saturday Three-Game Parlay
Final game of the season for most teams on Saturday. The Montreal Canadiens are still trying to clinch a playoff spot, while most of the league just wants to finish the year with a win.

Game 1 Preview: Toronto Maple Leafs @ Montreal Canadiens
Before this week, there was a lot of optimism behind the Maple Leafs, mainly due to a 9-5-2 record in March. But three straight losses (combined score 9-2) have the Leaf Nation skeptics in full force. There was very little to no urgency or passion in those last few games, and that has people worried about the possible makeup of next year’s squad.
They’re not playing well, and are facing not only a division rival in their final game of the season, but a rival that still has a playoff shot.
And the Canadiens are oh-so-close to that playoff berth. They need just a single point in their game against Toronto, although a Rangers loss on Friday will do just as well. Should Montreal make it to the second season, they will have their doubters.

They cannot score and still have yet to officially announce their number one starter in net (although 99.9% of the hockey world agrees Jaroslav Halak should get the call).
They’re playing the Leafs, against whom they always seem to steal at least a point from. The playoffs are in the Canadiens’ future.
Pick: Montreal Canadiens
Game 2 Preview: Buffalo Sabres @ Ottawa Senators

The Sabres are resting up for the playoffs. In Thursday’s 3-1 loss to the Bruins, Buffalo started Patrick Lalime, even though Lalime the suffering through a flu. All in the name of rest for Ryan Miller. Miller is expected to play on Saturday in order to keep him from getting rusty, although any sign of trouble and Miller will be yanked.
The Senators are in a similar boat. Their 4-3 shootout loss to Tampa Bay on Thursday all but eliminated any hope for home-ice advantage in Round 1. That game featured a ton of rough play, something the Sens would like to avoid in their final game of the season.
Neither the Sens nor the Sabres want their stars getting hurt. Expect lots of ice time for third and fourth liners and a real lack of physicality. Both teams are gearing for the postseason.

Game 3 Preview: Calgary Flames @ Vancouver Canucks
What a disappointing season for the Calgary Flames. Once thought potential Stanley Cup contenders, the Flames fell off in the second half and will miss the playoffs for the first time in the post-lockout era.
There are going to be massive changes for Flames on and off the ice, and that may be hanging over the heads of many Calgary players (and coaches) in the final game of the season. They may be too distracted and too depressed to pull out a win.
Vancouver, on the other hand, is all smiles after locking up the Northwest division in the past week. Home-ice advantage will be huge for the Canucks, as they sport a handsome 29-8-4 record at GM place.
A win at home, on the final day of the season, against a hated division rival, would be the perfect boost into the postseason.
Pick: Vancouver Canucks
