Los Angeles Kings - no lines available yet

Los Angeles is continuing to surprise in the Western Conference. After a brief stumble, the Kings are back on track and looking to finish up the pre-Olympic stretch strong. They have won four of their last five games and have beaten Buffalo and Detroit along the way. The return of Ryan Smith has spiked the Offense, and Anze Kopitar has found his touch once again. LA is a tough team - too tough for the Leafs.

Toronto Maple Leafs  - no lines available yet

Let’s face it folks, the Maple Leafs are a bad team. GM Brian Burke has preached patience for the Toronto fans, but in the meantime has failed to assemble a competitive team. Phil Kessell and Jason Blake are the only Offense that the Leafs can count on and lately they have been ice cold. There is not a lot to look forward to in Toronto, and as losers of four of their last five games, Los Angeles aint going to be a cure for a sick franchise.

Pick: Los Angeles Kings

-The Phoenix Coyotes rank 19th on offense, and average 2.6 goals per game. The Coyotes are 16.5% on the power play and have 33 power play goals.
-The Red Wings average 2.4 goals per game at home, and give up 2.1 goals against on defense.
-The Coyotes average 2.3 goals per game on the road, and give up 2.6 goals against on defense.

Phoenix Coyotes - no lines available yet

The Phoenix Coyotes have been very inconsistent lately - very tough to figure out. They have been struggling lately with a 4-5-1 record in their last 10 games, but they still sit rather comfortably in fifth spot in the Western Conference. They are coming off a loss in Washington the  other night and will be looking to regain some of their early season mojo. The Coyotes are playing a rather vulnerable Red Wings team on Tuesday night and could emerge the victors in that game.

Detroit Red Wings -no lines available yet

Who would have thought that the Red Wings would have been in ninth place in the West more than half way through the season? Don’t lie!! Sure, injuries have played a part in Detroit’s woes, but they don’t seem to have that Detroit swagger. They are struggling right now, and there is nothing to make me think that the struggles won’t continue.

Pick: Phoenix Coyotes
